We are proud of this young man. He is the type of player that is willing to work, has talent, and a wealth of athleticism. Coach Peckingpaugh at Indiana Tech has a plan for Jacob. A plan that Joe Meredith, Sherry Alvey Meredith, JT Henderson, and Jake himself are anxious to get underway. Jake continuing his education and developing his talent under a good coach, at the collegiate level, was the goal. The only negative is we did not have more time with him, Joe, Sherry, and JT. There will be more to follow...
**4/19 Update**
Jake will be participating in this week's The 6th Annual Metro Exposure Workout this Wednesday (April 22) at Iroquois High School  (Coach Michael Stinnett). Jake has already visited and worked out for Coach Peckingpaugh of Indiana Tech, in Ft. Wayne, IN. He has applied for admissions.

**1/28 Update**
Jake will have Indiana Tech of Ft. Wayne, IN, in to watch his game this Saturday vs. Trinity-Whitesville.



Jake came to the program late, but definitely does not lack the talent. Jake's recruiting is starting to pick up for this fine young man, and quality student-athlete. Jake will be improving his 3.0 GPA in his senior year and working with his coaches and trainer, Brandon Moore of the Louisville Spartans AAU, to improve his point guard skill set. Big things ahead for this young man. Jake does have schools that are interested in him and information will be coming soon. Jake has been invited to the University of Illinois at Springfield (of the Great Lake Valley Conference) elite camp next Saturday. He is also receiving mutual interest from Rend Lake Jr. College.

**2/12 Update** Devon has a good season and is a member of an Iroquois High basketball team that has played good competition and won. One of those wins was over a really good team from Allatoona, GA. Jacob Hand Class of 2024 6'5 Wing Holy Cross High School GPA: 3.8  ACT: TBD **March 2021 Update** Congratulations to Jacob on his selection to the 2nd Team All 6th Region, as a freshman. Also, congratulations to Jacob on being selected to the LIT All Tourney Team. The freshman is averaging 16.7ppg (on 52FG%) & 9.5rpg this season. With more hard work, more of these type selections are ahead for this young man. **January 2021 Update** Jacob is off to a great start at Holy Cross High (KY). The varsity freshman is averaging 16.7 PPG on 55 FG% and 10 RPG. Playing up this past summer should've helped prepare him for the next step of his progression. Jacob is one of the most athletic kids on the court and he also has pretty good size. He is a streaky shooter and very good at getting downhill.
