The event, hosted by Gary Darby , has proven to be a showcase for talent. 2015 will be no different. College coaches, who are permitted, are invited. Last year's Battle of the Bridges game attracted college coaches, as they watched the majority of the student-athletes that went on this past school year to obtain academic & athletic scholarships. Players participating in the annual event represented Division I, II, III, NAIA , and NJCAA schools. This year will offer the same quality experience for the young men & women and fans. Congratulations to Jake on committing & signing w/Indiana Tech in Ft. Wayne, IN. IN Tech is a member of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. ******************************* We are proud of this young man. He is the type of player that is willing to work, has talent, and a wealth of athleticism. Coach Peckingpaugh at Indiana Tech has a plan for Jacob. A plan that Joe Meredith, Sherry Alvey Meredith, JT Henderson, and Jake himself are anxious to get underway. Jake continuing his education and developing his talent under a good coach, at the collegiate level, was the goal. The only negative is we did not have more time with him, Joe, Sherry, and JT.
