**1/31 Update**
A reflection of the time, work and effort that Jacob puts in has shown this season averaging 19 ppg. With highs of 34 versus Fairdale and 31 just last night. The interest is mutual with Crossroads College in Minnesota. We anticipate his recruiting to pick up as the season heads into February. Jacob is a quality person, a great teammate, talented and the kind of guy you want as a teammate.

Update7/4
Jacob has had a solid week, starting out with his and a few other teammates unofficial visit to Holy Cross (IN) earlier this week. He followed that up with what was his best practice while with the program. What is even better, he understands & recognizes his deficiencies and continues to work on improving his all-around game this summer.

News on Jacob is that he will joining the Prospects Blue Squad. There are many good things that will happen for Jacob. Starting out in July with adidas Invitational (Indy), Eddie Ford (Louisville) and a great shot at making the Nationals in Disney (Florida) roster.

**2/26 Update**
Jacob is still receiving interest from Crossroads College (MN) & Coach Westerland. He will also be participating in the April 23rd Metro Exposure Camp here in Louisville.


Jacob Mills is the meaning of hard work. I would put Jacob up there with some of the hardest workers I've coached. He has the attitude and focus to help complete the package. Jacob will be making an unofficial visit to Holy Cross (IN) in July. 
July's AAU schedule is surely to get him in front of the right people to see what we see. During July AAU he will be participating in the adidas Invitational in Indy, Eddie Ford in Louisville and all sights are on Nationals in Orlando as well.

2/12 Update-2014 DEVON JOHNSON Iroquois HS & Prospects AAU

**2/12 Update** Devon has a good season and is a member of an Iroquois High basketball team that has played good competition and won. One of those wins was over a really good team from Allatoona, GA. 2024 Jacob Hand (Holy Cross) 6'5 Wing @quamelt22 @HCHSbasketball

Jacob Hand Class of 2024 6'5 Wing Holy Cross High School GPA: 3.8  ACT: TBD **March 2021 Update** Congratulations to Jacob on his selection to the 2nd Team All 6th Region, as a freshman. Also, congratulations to Jacob on being selected to the LIT All Tourney Team. The freshman is averaging 16.7ppg (on 52FG%) & 9.5rpg this season. With more hard work, more of these type selections are ahead for this young man. **January 2021 Update** Jacob is off to a great start at Holy Cross High (KY). The varsity freshman is averaging 16.7 PPG on 55 FG% and 10 RPG. Playing up this past summer should've helped prepare him for the next step of his progression. Jacob is one of the most athletic kids on the court and he also has pretty good size. He is a streaky shooter and very good at getting downhill.
