Coach Aubrey left today to work the Michigan State's Coach Tom Izzo' camp. Prior to him leaving he helped evaluate players that were participating in the Derek Smith Shootout here in Louisville.

Coach Aubrey has had a great spring and early summer...we look forward to a strong NCAA July evaluation period with our 17U's. This AAU season he has experienced head coaching, establishing his relationships with the focus on mentoring and teaching.

As founder of this program and given my experience, I've said, Kenton will make a great coach one day. He has the passion, commitment, and he's in the process of gaining the knowledge & experience.

As a former player at IUS, Coach Aubrey has been involved in coaching at Rock Creek, Team Southern Indiana (AAU) and with the Louisville Prospects Foundation & AAU. For the kids it has been a busy spring & early summer but ditto for Coach Aubrey.

Kenton interviewed and received an offer from Western Kentucky University (WKU) in regards to a  student/assistant position. He has been contacted by Delta State University for a similar position. Along with our tough schedule in July, Coach Kenton will be working both the Michigan St. and Indiana University basketball camps this summer.

It has been equally beneficial relationship having Coach Aubrey as a part. We have learned from him and he has learned from us. We are happy and excited for him. We have something we say at the Prospects program, "What truly matters for us is getting you signed."

That saying also goes for personnel as well. Thanks for your past & future commitment, wish you the best and look forward to July!

  1. Coach Aubrey has been such a great addition to the Kentuckiana locale. He has been a huge part of basketball in my life, and really just shown me what love for the game really is. Excited to see where he goes from here.
